Joseph’s innovative imagery often embraces the art of optical illusion - merging landscape and objects, people and places - with extraordinary attention to detail and technical mastery. He loves meeting the challenges of a concept and is adept at finding creative solutions. So far, he has shot on location, in the studio, from helicopters, boats and cranes, underwater and up mountains. Clients worldwide choose Joseph to create beautifully crafted and creative advertising campaigns, editorial and films.

Hoxton Mini Press recently published a book of Joseph’s knitted camouflage pictures, entitled “Invisible Jumpers”. The intricate jumpers featured in the book - worn by humans, dogs and bananas alike - blend seamlessly into their surroundings thanks to artist knitter Nina Dodd (who dedicated “more hours than is reasonable”) and Joseph spending endless hours lining up the camera for the perfect shot. Described variously as “incredible” (The Independent), “irresistible” (We-heart), and as one subject, a certain Fatboy Slim comments: ” I love this kind of attention to the absurd. Right up my street.”

He shoots both stills and moving images, and his work has received countless awards worldwide. Joseph is based in London, but very much at home working further afield.

Joseph’s clients include Air Canada, American Express, Astrazeneca, Beachcomber Hotels, BNP Paribas, Pfizer, Caisse d'Epargne, Decathlon, DFT, Disney, Drinkaware, Hewlett Packard, Hennessy, Huawei, Lacoste, LEGO, Mastercard, Mazda, McDonalds, Missoni, O2, Pepe Jeans, Renault, SNCF, Visa and Vodafone. He shoots editorial for Amusement, Avaunt, The Guardian, The Observer, Sneakers, Spectr, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Telegraph, WAD and Zoom-Zoom
