Chasing the Velar P300 weaving through the mountains through fading golden light in the Alps, Tom Bunning camped in a tent on the side of a mountain to get these brutally beautiful images, 2112 metres above sea level in a recent commission for the upcoming Swiss issue of Lodestars Anthology in collaboration with Land Rover.
The latest instalment of Tom's ongoing project exploring farming through the seasons. Tom visited Fern Verrow, a biodynamic farm set in the foothills of the Black Mountains in Herefordshire. The land has been farmed by Jane Scotter and Harry Astley since 1996 and they’ve created a truly inspiring corner of this island, cultivating a wide range of seasonal flowers, vegetables, fruit, and herbs.
Tom’s project is inspired by Clare Leighton’s The Farmer’s Year - a wonderful book of words and wood engravings, published in the 1930's.
Tom Bunning was delighted to be invited to Lords Cricket Ground earlier this year. His images soak up the atmosphere of the tours at the Lords Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). Lords is the most famous Ground in the world, steeped in over 200 years of history and tradition. It's also the keeper of the Laws of Cricket and the art, history and evolving cultural identity of the Game at all levels.
Tom was asked to visit Tesla's European Headquarters at Tilburg, in the Netherlands for The Gentleman's Journal. How could he refuse?

If you're a keen road cyclist - this road is infamous. For those not in the know, the road's official name is the Col de Cal Reis, but to friends it's just the Cobra. A perfect 6 miles rising to 2,000 feet nestled in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. A perfect location for Tom to vist.
This year Tom visited Community Clothing in Blackburn. It's a manufacturers cooperative with a simple mission; to make excellent quality affordable clothes for men and women, to create great jobs for skilled workers and by doing this help to restore real pride in Britain’s textile communities.
