Phil Fisk shoots 27 year old singer/songwriter, the awesome Ray BLK for OBSERVER. Born Rita Ekwere in Nigeria in 1994, she moved to London aged four and was raised in Catford, south-east London. Her forthcoming debut album ACCESS DENIED, features collaborations with some of UK rap’s leading names, from Stefflon Don to Kojey Radical to Giggs.
Chris Floyd spent an afternoon shooting the delightfully frank and formidable ANNE ROBINSON, described variously as 'the queen of mean', 'the oldest woman on TV who's not judging cakes' (her own words!) - and being 'as warm as Maleficent' in her new debut as host of Channel 4's Countdown.
Chris Floyd shoots Harry Potter star turned novelist, artist, comedian and mother… the amazing JESSIE CAVE for IDLER.
Chris was keen to capture scenes, ”from inside his head… A solipsistic, melancholic and ethereal character from a movie length edition of a mid 70s episode of Columbo. Or maybe ‘Murder She Wrote’. “
Jessie, “once again, wanted to wear a subtle outfit and create a pose that screamed “SERIOUS NOVELIST”.”

Because he's authentic. I also counted about 20 knackered old footballs in his garden, in hedges, behind fences and one even impaled on a shed roof. Just like you and me."

Late last summer CHRIS FLOYD took a trip to Portofino, the jewel of the Italian Riviera, to shoot with JACK SAVORETTI for his new album, EUROPIANA.
In Chris's words...
"Jack spent all his childhood summers in Portfino and the whole vibe of the album is a quest to recapture that feeling you had in your younger years when the summers never seemed to end and the thrill and excitement of going out, dancing and meeting new people was wide open and there for the taking."

Below are selected images from their adventures through the Forest of Bowland, accompanied by a flask of coffee, some Honeywell’s sausage rolls and a 1920’s Bakelite picnic set that was “heavier than the both of us combined.”
