We wanted to share these beautiful landscape format versions of the images Joseph Ford captured for his recent campaign for DACIA, commissioned by PUBLICIS CONSEIL.
The colour tones and details are so lovely its worth a closer look! 🔎✨
Joseph Ford - Dacia
Joseph Ford had a blast shooting this campaign for DACIA, focussing on their aftercare and maintenance services in studio and on location in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Like most of the projects Joseph works on, we combined stills and TVC production, shooting alongside the film crew and working with the DoP to integrate the stills and motion lighting for a more efficient production. This allowed the client to reduce costs and enabled Joseph to maximise the number of images he could capture. We love all the details in these beautifully captured ads.
Merci beaucoup to Publicis Conseil and all the team for a wonderful shoot.
🚗💨💨✨

Phil Fisk - Ramaswami
Part 2 of Phil’s stunning ALLOTMENT series featuring eccentrics found among the vegetable patches… 🌽🥦🥕 📻 🥬🥒🌶
“Ramaswami Krishnan acquired his allotment to save his marriage. Their house was overflowing with electronic equipment that he had saved from the street and car boot sales since the 1980’s. He retired as a physics teacher twenty years ago and started repairing and taking apart early computers. But the small Victorian terrace soon filled up and he was forced to find a shed of some kind, as long as it was “away from the house”…! By chance a family friend offered a share in his allotment and now old technology and horticulture exist side by side. Kris, as he likes to be called, is yet to fully embrace the digging and planting but he is happy in his new home and there is “finally, peace at home.”
Thanks for the wonderful casting Sue Odell, props by the amazing Vic Twyman and awesome job by all the team 👏
Phil Fisk - Paula Rego
In 2018, Phil Fisk photographed the internationally-celebrated artist Dame Paula Rego, who sadly passed away this week aged 87.
Phil remembered the shoot, commissioned by the Observer, as a very special day. He had the freedom to explore her studio and he recalls that she was willing to take his direction for the portraits…
“I asked her to close her eyes and she just commented that it would give her the opportunity to dream for minute to two. She was very frail and I think tired, but determined to smile and make us welcome.”
Please read her full obituary here.
Phil Fisk - The Grove - still lives...
Simple and symbolic portraits of a place…
These still life shots of DIY skate ramps and structures, environment and community, were captured by Phil Fisk at The Grove DIY in South London, the setting for his beautiful AOP 2022 Awards nominated documentary film (see next post).
Chris Floyd - Sotheby's - The Man of Sorrows
Something quite breath-taking about this portrait of a portrait!
One of BOTTICELLI's final works, painted in the late 15th / early 16th century, "THE MAN OF SORROWS", was filmed by CHRIS FLOYD prior to its sale at auction at SOTHEBY’S in January 2022 for a staggering $45.5M. It had previously changed hands in 1963 for £10,000.
Described by CHRISTOPHER APOSTLE, head of the Old Masters Department as, “one of the most potent, humbling works I have ever encountered. Though seemingly religious, it’s a painting of enormous humanity—a portrait of human suffering and spirituality that speaks a universal language.”
CHRIS was given access to the painting for a day and shot this film. Everything you see was done in camera with controlled use of lighting and some quick draw finger work on light switches from everyone involved!
Phil Fisk - Charlie Bigham / Sunday Times
Perilously perched lemons, perfectly poised yolks, shelf-sprouting mushrooms and the art of finely balanced fruit and veg with CHARLIE BIGHAM, captured by PHIL FISK for the SUNDAY TIMES 🍋🥚🍄🍅🍆🌽🌶🥛🐟🌿
