Super happy to share this lovely article on CREATIVE BOOM - “Celebrity photographer CHRIS FLOYD shares six pieces of career advice everyone can learn from.”
“You don't have to work with a camera to learn from world-class photographer Chris Floyd's success. We chat with him about the importance of persistence, why you should trust your instincts, and why relationships are so important.”
Chris describes the moment of his first big break…
“I was in Marks & Spencer buying socks, and he called me to say: 'Can you do a job for us?' And it was the greatest feeling in the world."
It all started there, among the M&S hosiery, and he never looked back! You can read the full article below.
IMPOSSIBLE STREET ART - an intricately conceived new project by JOSEPH FORD, created in collaboration with renowned street artists to showcase the work they would create if there were NO LIMITS...
Joseph collaborates with Peeta - super talented Venice-based graffiti artist, muralist, oil painter and sculptor whose 3-dimensional style bends surface, buildings and minds…
Mexican textile, installation and street artist Victoria Villasana - whose work adorns gallery and city walls everywhere from London & LA to Mexico City & Guadalajara - collaborated with Joseph on a stunning textile X photography creation. “The use of embroidery is her nod to female empowerment. “Working with fabric makes me feel connected with an inner rebellious femininity. Embroidery is undervalued as just a ‘woman’s craft’ – but it’s something that reminds us of all those amazing women in our lives that nurture us.”

The iconic PB&J toast, captured in all its glory by FRANKIE TURNER, styling by KEIRON GEORGE.
We realise this is a controversial subject matter... (sparking lengthy debate at Flock HQ!) where there is a self-confessed "peanut butter hater", a "peanut butter purist" (no other toppings allowed) and a "no sandwicher"...!
Whatever your preference, we hope you love the impeccable photography and styling 👌✨
FRANKIE TURNER shoots some super succulent takeaway treats for JUST EAT!
Huge thanks to all the team 🍕🍔 🙌
PHIL FISK shoots “literary star” CALEB AZUMAH NELSON for OBSERVER.
His first book OPEN WATER won the 2021 Costa first novel award, and his stunning second novel SMALL WORLDS, written “to feel like one long, continuous song” has just been published by Penguin Books.
CHRIS FLOYD recently spent several days shooting at the wildly beautiful ZAPATA RANCH near Alamosa, Colorado. A glorious world of “cowgirls, cowboys, horses, cattle, trucks, denim, stetsons, leather goods, steaks, mountain ranges and bison”.
There he met with Kate Matheson, who he used to work with in the early 2000s when she was a picture editor at Conde Nast magazines in London. About 15 years ago she gave it all up, and in her own words, “arrived at the ranch with a suitcase of clothes and a Le Creuset pot, I got my best friend Pepe and my dream truck not long after. I’ll be leaving with a husband, 7 horses, 3 dogs, two babies and a chicken if we can catch her and at least 2 novels worth of stories.”
Next month she is leaving Colorado to move to Montana with her family, where they are taking over the running of her husband’s family’s ranch. Kate is pictured in the last 3 images and you can hear her story on the Ranchlands podcast here.
Fabulous photos Chris! Such a beautiful insight into ranch life in the American midwest.

CHRIS FLOYD has been creating beautiful work for clients BERRY BROTHERS RUDD for several years now. He was recently commissioned to travel to the rolling terroire of the CHATEAU LAFITE vineyard in Bordeaux where he met executive chairwoman Saskia Rothschild and her wonderful team, who together produce the much heralded wines from the estate (which has been in Saskia’s family for 160 years).
Chris felt it was a real privilege to have such extensive access to the estate whilst creating this body of work, and was delighted to be able to capture some beautiful perspectives on the people and the place. We have pleasure in sharing a selection below.
