Joseph Ford - Arnold Worldwide Part 2
We’re delighted to share a few more of the images from Joseph’s recent healthcare campaign photographed in USA with Arnold Worldwide.
After seeing his Invisible Jumpers project, ARNOLD WORLDWIDE commissioned Joseph to work on a multifaceted campaign for a pharmaceutical skin care product including stills, cinemagraphs and films, using the wardrobe and location design techniques he’d developed for his personal project. Shot on location over a two month period in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and California, using real patients in both camouflaged and lifestyle scenarios, Joseph produced over 80 final assets including stills and cinemagraphs.
The overall look of the camouflage areas were developed by Joseph to ensure the patients would melt into their backgrounds and created the wardrobe brief for both stills and TVC.
The shooting process included several remote shoots completed from the UK with a live stream from the camera on set, directing models and lighting whilst his assistant in the USA physically triggered the camera. Stills and cinemagraph post-production was managed by Joseph and Flock for the US agency.
Here’s one of the concepts in full, where the twin swimmers are camouflaged and hidden in their environment to their full reveal post-treatment, living their best lives.
Something quite breath-taking about this portrait of a portrait!
One of BOTTICELLI's final works, painted in the late 15th / early 16th century, "THE MAN OF SORROWS", was filmed by CHRIS FLOYD prior to its sale at auction at SOTHEBY’S in January 2022 for a staggering $45.5M. It had previously changed hands in 1963 for £10,000.
Described by CHRISTOPHER APOSTLE, head of the Old Masters Department as, “one of the most potent, humbling works I have ever encountered. Though seemingly religious, it’s a painting of enormous humanity—a portrait of human suffering and spirituality that speaks a universal language.”
CHRIS was given access to the painting for a day and shot this film. Everything you see was done in camera with controlled use of lighting and some quick draw finger work on light switches from everyone involved!
A thought provoking short film by CHRIS FLOYD commissioned by global renewable energy company RES, featuring the wonderful CONNIE SAVORETTI.

In Chris’s words, “Any day spent with Emilia Fox is a day made lighter, brighter and more funner (as my kids would say), especially is she is the only person I know who gets more excited than I do at the thought of getting lunch from Prêt.”

We are super proud to announce that PHIL FISK's portrait of PAUL WELLER, photographed for OBSERVER earlier this year, has been selected as one of the 100 images to be displayed for the 2021 BJP "Portrait of Britain".
In Phil's words, “I went to photograph Paul Weller at his studio for the Observer New Review. I was a little nervous before I arrived because I thought that having a photographer in his music space might annoy him. I was so wrong. The door opened, I got the loveliest welcome and my first proper handshake since the first lockdown. Paul was a childhood hero of mine, and has now become a beacon of hope for me in getting older with style and a never-waning sense of adventure.”
You can see all the amazing images (including Phil's portrait of Paul Weller) here.
